Missing the Train
Playing with Final Cut and threw this together. I love my by-conventional-definition-shitty life.

Laboring for Fruits
First picture taken from the first professional lens I've ever owned, product of damn near a year of hustling. Woot.

Declaration

I've wanted to see this document my entire adult life. Seeing the handwriting was surreal, and as close as I'll ever get to feeling the tension that must have been in a room full of men signing their death warrant (with an inconcievably steady hand) in the name of a very fragile democracy. The document has badly faded, but you have to smile upon noticing the only words that have survived the centuries completely legibly were the phrases they hammered home with bold letters - "Free and Independent." Wave all the flags you want, I will never call anyone a patriot again until I'm convinced they share the same heart as these men.

Visitors From Another World

Youngest patrons I've had across the bar. Remember the mystique of being admitted into an adult place? Would have loved to see it from their side.

I have no idea why you walked away from the crowd to observe this. There's an innocence in the way you stand.

The end of the line.
President Harding once shook 6,500 hands during an open house with local residents here. Now there's snipers.
